To receive emergency fire alerts or related notifications, users must agree to all these policies and terms of service. By accessing and/or using our services, you acknowledge and agree that accessing and/or using our services constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions from that point onwards. If a user disagrees with any term of this agreement, they must delete their account to cancel their agreement.
We reserves the right to modify, supplement any and all content of this agreement at any time without prior notice or user consent.
To use the fire alert functions and receive emergency fire notifications within approximately 100m of the user's location, users must agree to this agreement and register an account using a phone number. Users must also commit to providing us with accurate phone number information. We are not responsible in cases where incorrect user information affects or limits user rights.
To receive emergency notifications of fires within about 100m, users must always allow location access and notifications from the Fire Alarm application. If not set to always allow, emergency notifications will not be received.
Users are responsible, including legal responsibility and before the law, for all activities and behaviors performed through their account while using the application. We will not be liable for compensation to users for any losses or damages arising from leaked account information.
Users have the right to use the application, however, the following behaviors are prohibited:
Making false fire alarms. (False fire alarms are a legal violation and will be penalized according to the law).
Exploiting the application platform provided by We in any form of legal violation, for any illegal purpose, and/or to harass, negatively impact other users' experiences.
Collection of Phone Numbers and Identity Verification:
- To ensure security and user identity verification, the application collects phone numbers and uses them to send OTP (One-Time Password). This information is only used for account authentication and fire notification services. We commit not to use your information for any other purposes than the initial purposes you agreed to.
Collection of Location Information through GPS:
- The application uses GPS services on your device to determine the location of fires, helping users report fires accurately and conveniently. The system also uses your location information to determine whether you are within about 100m of a fire incident. This helps the application decide how to send emergency fire notifications most effectively in case you are near a fire incident.
- We also collect your fire reporting feedback to send fire notifications to other users within about 100m.
- We commit to protecting your personal information and complying with data protection regulations. However, we reserve the right and obligation to provide your information to competent state agencies, such as the Fire Police Authority, when required by the laws of Vietnam. This is to ensure compliance and adherence to community safety and protection regulations that we must follow.
Users have complete control over their personal information in the application and have the right to delete their account at any time if they wish.
We highly value user information security. We use encryption technology to protect users' personal data and minimize risks from unauthorized access. These security measures ensure that users' personal information is protected from intrusion and misuse.
For various reasons, GPS may not accurately determine your location and address 100%. We will not be responsible for GPS inaccuracies in determining this location.
The Fire Alarm application only supports fire notifications and provides fire prevention and firefighting guidelines to users. We are not responsible for any human or property damage if a fire occurs while users are registered to use the application, even if the application encounters an error and users are unable to receive or accurately report the fire.
Our privacy policy and terms of service will be regularly updated and adjusted to align with current regulations and to protect user rights. Therefore, please regularly check the content to ensure you are always informed of the latest information and can use our services with peace of mind.
